Greatwood South – Fable: The Lost Chapters

This guide will help you explore the southern part of the Greatwood area in Fable: The Lost Chapters.

Area Overview

1 – Bandit Toll Taker

The bandit here will demand 400 gold for you to pass unmolested through the area. If you refuse — and who wouldn’t? — then all the bandits in the area will turn against you. The good news is that once you defeat the bandits, they won’t come back, and you’ll be able to loot their camps (#2).

2 – Bandit Camps

If you loot all of the barrels and chests in the two camps, you’ll find 500 gold coins, a flame augmentation, two will potions, two heal potions, an apple pie, some red meat, and a steel pickhammer.

3 – Demon Door

This is Demon Door #2 in the Demon Doors section. Beyond the door you’ll find the legendary weapon Wellow’s Pickhammer.

4 – Cullis Gate

5 – Fishing Ripple

You can catch a moonfish here.

6 – Rose Cottage

Inside the cottage you’ll find a will potion and the book A Hero’s Journey II.

7 – Thorn Bushes / Treasure Chest

Attack the bushes to gain access to the chest. Inside the chest you’ll find 500 gold coins.

8 – Buried Treasure

If you dig in the middle of the ring of flowers here, you’ll find a silver key.

9 – Demon Door

This is Demon Door #9 in the Demon Doors section. Beyond the door you’ll find a full set of Will Bright Armor.

10 – Demon Door

This is Demon Door #3 in the Demon Doors section. Beyond the door you’ll find the legendary weapon The Cutlass Bluetane.

11 – Thorn Bushes

Attack the thorn bushes to gain access to Exit E. Between the bushes and the exit you can find a will potion and a piece of red meat.

Exits:

  1. Exit to Greatwood Lake.
  2. Path between Greatwood Gorge and the Greatwood Cullis Gate.
  3. Path between the Greatwood Cullis Gate and Rose Cottage.
  4. Path between the Greatwood Cullis Gate and Greatwood Caves.
  5. Exit to the Hobbe Cave Entrance.
  6. Exit to Darkwood Entrance.
